Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia, affecting up to 70% of all people with dementia. American Geriatric’s duty is to spread awareness to every family member as the cause is poorly understood. It has no cure and people afflicted with this becomes incapable of tending for their own needs. The only treatment to manage the disease would be informed caregiving. American Geriatric is currently and actively conducting seminars and workshops about Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care.
